Welcome to ROI_PAC Wiki
Repeat Orbit Interferometry PACkage (ROI_PAC)
Software for processing synthetic aperture radar data to produce differential interferograms. Licenses available at no charge for non-commercial use.
The roipac.org Wiki has been attacked by spambots that have created some 40,000 fake user accounts in the last six months. We have been forced to close the registration of new accounts and remove all accounts that have been created in the last six months. Since this MoinMoin Wiki software is now obsolete, this problem cannot be fixed permanently and we are looking at ways to transfer the information to a new website. All existing account passwords have been invalidated. 2013/4/22
ROI_pac version 3.0.1 was released on 24 August 2009. This version has some improvements and bug fixes since version 3.0 that was released in 2007. Get it from Open Channel Foundation. See Installation for installation instructions and TestRoi for instructions on processing the test data.
See Patches page for fixes to v3.0 that are in the v3.0.1 release (and look here for new patches).
The UNAVCO ROI_pac InSAR for beginners short course for 2012 was held August 13-15 in Boulder, Colorado. See http://www.unavco.org/edu_outreach/short-courses/2012/insar/insar.html for details.

Another ROI_pac Short Course was held September 1-3, 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey at the Istanbul Kultur University (IKU). Contact Dr. Elif SERTEL of Istanbul Technical University or YuriFialko for details.
A new page Suggestions for improvements has been added to discuss improvements that people would like to see in ROI_pac.
See Envisat page for information on the October 2010-April 2012 "drifting phase" of Envisat, TerraSAR-X page for information on TerraSAR-X, and COSMO-SkyMed page for information on COSMO-SkyMed.
